"Hésingue is a commune in the Haut-Rhin department in Alsace in north-eastern France. It is close to both the Swiss and German borders, and is around six kilometres from the centre of Basel. "(Link 1.)

"A church exists in Hésingue since 1302; the medieval church was replaced by a new one in 1773; in 1839 construction of the tower and extension of the nave, the work is directed by Jean-Jacques Berchtold master mason."(Link 2.)
